A town is nothing without its economy, so let's talk MONEY. Members can earn two types of currency in Boogey Bay - Boobucks and Reputation.
BooBucks - or BB for short - is the main group currency. BB can be used to purchase things like character slots, temporary stat boosts, permanent level boosts, and more! Boobucks are easy enough to earn - as they're awarded every time a member submits art, literature, and roleplay logs.
Reputation - or Rep - is used for individual character progression. After a character reaches a certain amount of reputation; they have the option to level up to get new perks like stat points, new abilities, and more! Reputation is earned for your characters when you submit work including them. (Artwork and literature that doesn't feature a character from your roster does not net you any Rep, but it will give you bonus BB if it's a gift!)
More information on how the leveling mechanics work can be found at the bottom of this page.
THE CHART
When artwork and literature is submitted, a couple of things are taken into account when awarding BooBucks and Reputation.
|
|
Leveling is where Reputation comes into play. A higher reputation for a character means higher influence, and with influence comes power (or resources, if that's what you prefer!).
When a character gets a certain amount of Rep, they can level up and receive a perk. Some levels will grant your monster a bonus, like increased stats or heart - while others will give you a choice between perks.
All characters start at level 0 unless they use a special item found in the shop. At the moment, the maximum level cap for character's is 6, but it may go up in the future.
