Welcome to Boogey Bay! There are plenty of ways to play, but this page can help give a better idea of what our little group is about.
So without further ado, let’s dive in!
In Boogey Bay we have a server dedicated to public roleplays, with separate channels set in the various locations of town. The rp server serves as the main hub for players to use their characters, as well as where most of our events will take place - official or otherwise.
All RP styles are welcomed, from script to semi-lit to paragraph. Certain channels favor one over the other, but there’s a place for everyone!
We utilize a few bots such as Tupperbox to help distinguish in-character actions and Diceparser to resolve stat-checks with dice roles. If you’re curious how that all works, check out #channel in the rp server for more details.
Quests are optional tasks that can award extra BB or REP. They’re usually small prompts that can be roleplay or artwork related.
Generally they’re given out by moderators, but members will be able to submit their own quests!

Characters can progress and earn levels by gaining Reputation - granting them things such as new abilities, stats, or exclusive items that are unavailable in the shop. There’s plenty of flexibility, allowing your character to develop alongside the town as you see fit!

No town is truly stagnant, and Bellerive is no exception! Events will occasionally crop up to provide roleplay opportunities, as well as insight into how the town is growing and evolving with its members. Some events will progress the status quo, while others are just for good fun!
Events are where character stats can shine, as characters can contribute to an event's outcome - whether it's through their successes OR failure.
Events have a time limit, with one usually ending before another begins. No need to fret if you miss one, however, as another is always just around the corner.
Get badges and in-group rewards for participating in events. Badges are decorative, with no in group function beyond being a fun way to say you participated. Whereas in group rewards can range from extra in-group currency to items that are event exclusive!
Boogey Bay's main server is a great place to experience the social aspects of the group. Here you'll find you can meet new people, talk about your characters, share your hard work, and more.
